CURIOSITY, CONNECTION, PRESENCE

Embodied Union

We help you deepen your relationship with yourself and the people you love, so you can experience more connection, intimacy, passion, play and presence.

Did you know? You have a unique relationship blueprint.

We each enter relationship with a history.

Our early relationships, life experiences and the environments we grew within shape the ways we learn to connect, protect ourselves, express our needs and make sense of ourselves and others.

Over time, these experiences can become deeply held patterns, ways of being that often operate outside of our conscious awareness.

And nowhere do these patterns tend to come alive quite like they do in intimate relationship.

The closer we become to another person, the more we may encounter the parts of ourselves that fear rejection, crave reassurance, withdraw, pursue, protect, control or struggle to stay present.

This is part of why relationships can feel so deeply triggering.

But rather than seeing these responses as something wrong with you, we approach them with curiosity.

What makes sense about the way you learned to respond? What might this pattern be protecting? What happens inside of you when connection feels threatened?

Relationship gives us an opportunity to bring awareness to patterns that may have once been automatic, and with awareness comes the possibility of something new.

Not by becoming a different person, but by developing greater freedom and choice in how you meet yourself and the people you love.

Whatever has brought you to Embodied Union, we offer a compassionate, non-judgemental space to explore what happens within you and between you and to discover new possibilities for connection, intimacy and relationship.

We're here to help women, men & couples understand themselves more deeply, transform relational patterns and create more conscious, connected relationships.

HEY THERE!

We are Linzey & Charlie

Embodied Union grew from a shared fascination with human behaviour, relationship and what becomes possible when we begin to understand ourselves more deeply.

When we first met, our work was already moving along complementary paths. Charlie’s background in psychology and women’s work was increasingly drawing her toward somatic, attachment-based and relational approaches, while Linzey’s work with men was being shaped by somatic psychotherapy, men’s work and his own exploration of relationship.

One of our earliest conversations was about what might become possible if we brought these worlds together.

Before long, our professional relationship became a personal one and much of what we had studied began unfolding within the lived experience of our own relationship.

We began seeing, in real time, how intimacy can bring us into contact with our deepest patterns. How quickly we can move into protection. How our histories shape what we perceive in the present. And how relationship can become a place where we learn to meet ourselves — and each other — differently.

Embodied Union was born from this intersection between the work we practise and the relationship we live.

Individually, we remain committed to our own inner work. Together, we are committed to meeting our relationship with curiosity, honesty and responsibility — not as a relationship without conflict or difficulty, but as one where what emerges between us can become an opportunity for greater awareness and connection.

Today, Embodied Union brings together our work with women, men and couples, supporting people to understand what happens within themselves and between each other, and to cultivate relationships with greater choice, intimacy, presence and aliveness.

Get schooled:

The Relationship Breakthrough Blueprint

Relationship is a skill.

We aren't necessarily taught how to communicate when we're activated. How to stay connected through difference. How to navigate conflict without losing ourselves or each other. How to speak honestly about what we need. Or how to keep intimacy, curiosity and play alive as a relationship evolves.

So, how does your relationship feel?

Does your communication create greater understanding — or leave you feeling further apart?

Does your intimacy feel connected, alive and playful?

Can you move through conflict with curiosity rather than finding yourselves caught in the same familiar cycle?

Can you recognise what happens inside each of you when you're triggered — and find your way back to one another?

Maybe your relationship isn't broken. Maybe you simply know there is more available.

The Relationship Breakthrough Blueprint is our 3-month signature program for couples who want to learn the art of relating.

Intimate relationships have an extraordinary way of bringing our patterns to the surface. The closer we become to another person, the more we can encounter our histories, sensitivities, protective strategies and deepest longings.

This doesn't mean something has gone wrong.

It means there is something here to become curious about.

Rather than simply trying to eliminate conflict, we help you understand what is happening underneath it — within yourself, within your partner and in the dynamic being created between you.

Because the quality of our closest relationships profoundly shapes the way we experience our lives.

When there is safety, connection and intimacy between you, relationship can become a place of support, play, belonging and aliveness. When you're caught in recurring cycles of disconnection, those same relationships can become some of the most painful places to be.

The Relationship Breakthrough Blueprint brings together relational education, experiential practices and practical tools drawn from our therapeutic training and years of working with individuals and couples.

Not to give you a formula for the perfect relationship — but to help you understand your relationship more deeply and develop new ways of meeting yourself and each other.

For Couples!

Embodied Union is for you if...

You've reflected. You've gained insight. You've done a lot of “the work.”

And yet, there may still be patterns that seem to take over before you have a chance to choose differently.

You might know why you react the way you do, but still find yourself reacting.

You might understand your relationship patterns, but still get pulled into the same cycle with your partner.

You might know what you need, but struggle to express it when it matters most.

This is where our work becomes curious about more than what you consciously know.

We’re interested in what happens underneath the words.

The subtle ways your body responds. The beliefs and expectations you carry into relationship. The protective strategies that emerge when something feels threatening. The patterns that may have once made perfect sense — and continue to organise your experience today.

Rather than treating these parts of you as problems to overcome, we approach them with curiosity and compassion.

Because awareness creates possibility — and new experiences can create new choices.

Our work brings together psychological understanding with relational, somatic and experiential approaches, creating opportunities to not only talk about your patterns, but to notice and explore them as they emerge in the present moment.

We don't believe there is one right way to heal, or that meaningful change comes from following a perfect formula.

We believe it begins with becoming more deeply acquainted with yourself — with curiosity, awareness and the safety to discover something new.

If you're ready to understand yourself and your relationships more deeply, we're ready to meet you there.
